Grigorios Tasios
President of the Halkidiki Hotels Association
Grigorios Tasios is the co-owner and manager of Philoxenia Hotel in Psakoudia, Halkidiki, since 1992. He is the president of the Halkidiki Hotels Association, serving his sixth term from 2009 to date. Since 2011, he has been the president of the Halkidiki Tourism Organization, which is the official body promoting Halkidiki. He has served: two terms as President of the Hellenic Hoteliers Federation, member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic National Tourism Organization, as well as a candidate for Member of the European Parliament and Member of the Greek Parliament. Through his involvement with the public, Mr. Tasios has developed intense activity through interventions in institutional bodies on tourism and hotel issues, while he constantly develops initiatives to develop synergies and strategic partnerships with bodies and professionals in the tourism industry.
