Michalis Tzortzoris
President of Hellenic Insurance Brokers Association (HIBA)
Michael Tzortzoris is the President of the Hellenic Insurance Brokers Association (HIBA) and Managing Director of Amt Insurance Brokers.
He has worked as an insurance consultant, insurance agent, Coordinator of Insurance Advisors, and Insurance Broker. He also has significant experience in the UCITS and AIF Mutual Funds market, the secondary market of Government-Corporate Bonds, as well as Financial Derivatives.
1994: His professional career began in July 1994, alongside his studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the School of Physical Sciences (Department of Mathematics).
In 2002, he took over the position of Branch Manager at Groupama in Piraeus, as an Agency Manager. Over the next five years, he trained, new insurance advisors & he awarded for his productive performance in the Life and Investment Insurance Programs.
In 2010, he founded “AMT Insurance Brokers,” which specializes in planning personal and corporate insurance coverage.
In 2017, he became a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Greek Insurance Brokers and was responsible for the Members Committee.
In 2019 he was elected President of the BOARD of Directors of the Association of Greek Insurance Brokers & President of the Insurance Intermediaries Association of Greece
