Yannick Malevergne
Deputy Director of the Sorbonne School of Management
Yannick Malevergne is Professor of Finance at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is Deputy Director of the Sorbonne School of Management and Director of the Finance Research Department within the PRISM-Sorbonne Laboratory. Prior to joining the Sorbonne, he held senior teaching and research positions at the University of Lyon and ETH Zurich. He holds a PhD in Physics and the French Agrégation in Management Science. His research interests include the valuation of financial assets, portfolio management and risk management. He has published several books and articles in leading academic journals. Among his publications are “Theory of Zipf’s Law and Beyond” and “Extreme Financial Risks: From Dependence to Risk Management. In addition to his academic activities, Yannick Malevergne is a regular consultant to financial institutions in France and abroad.
