
Thanasis Papapostolou

Thanasis Papapostolou was born in Thessaloniki on August 1st, 1969, to two wonderful parents, Nikos and Kaiti Papapostolou, and has four siblings. He is married to Lia Kalkasina and is the father of Nikos, a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and Dimitris, a graduate of the University of Bristol.
He completed his primary and secondary education at Anatolia College in Thessaloniki. He holds a BSc in Business Administration and Marketing from Boston University.
He is the Vice President of PAPAPOSTOLOU N S.A., the Greek medical technology company with a 111-year history.
He belongs to the third generation of the family to take the helm of the company, continuing the founder’s vision with the same dedication, focusing on quality and technological innovation.
He has extensive experience and expertise in the field of medical technologies, having followed the evolution of medical technology since 1989 and participated in hundreds of trainings and conferences across Europe and the United States.
He has also been a speaker at numerous international and national medical conferences.
He is particularly committed to issues related to the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer – and cancer in general.
