Ioannis Tsikripis
Director General Prudential, Supervision and Resolution, Bank of Greece
Dr. Ioannis Tsikripis is Director General in the Bank of Greece, responsible for prudential supervision and resolution. He joined the Bank of Greece in 2003 with previous employment in the financial sector. He has long experience in banking supervision and financial stability. He is member of the BoD at the Hellenic Deposit and Investment Guarantee Fund (TEKE) and non-executive member of the BoD at DIAS Interbanking Systems S.A. Additionally, he is currently the alternate SSM Supervisory Board member of the Bank of Greece, and he has been a member of the ECB Financial Stability Committee. He holds a PhD in International Economics and a MSc in Banking and Finance.
