Konstantinos Tsagkaropoulos
Secretary General for Social Security
Konstantinos Tsagkaropoulos is the Secretary General of Social Security at the Ministry of Labor & Social Security since August 2024. He is a member of the Bureau of the OECD Working Party on Insurance and Private Pensions since September 2025. He has long and extensive experience in social security issues. He served as Governor of the Seamen’s Pension Fund (NAT) from 27/04/21 to 31/07/21 and as the First Deputy Governor of the National Social Security Fund (e-EFKA) from 30/08/19 to 26/04/21. He served as vice president of Attica Bank from 10/11/20 to 23/03/22 and has participated in various others positions of responsibily He has also served for several years as Legal Advisor and Director in Ministerial offices. From 20/09/2001 to 05/10/2012 he served in the State Legal Council (NSK). He is married and the father of three daughters.
