Athena Vounatsou is a lawyer and member of the Athens Bar Association and is currently the Director of Tax, Investments and Market Operation Department of SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, representing SEV at the executive committee of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council (HCGC).
She has worked as a tax consultant at Deloitte Business Solutions, as a consultant to the General Secretary of Commerce of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Development and, from that position, as member of the Supervisory Board of the General Electronic Commercial Registry (G.E.MI). She has also worked as a competition expert for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development during the Competition assessment project for Greece.
She holds an LLB from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law school and a Master of Laws from Queen Mary University in Corporate and Commercial Law.
