Elias Eliades
Senior Director, Industrial & Technology Investment Strategy, Enterprise Greece
With more than 25 years of experience in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policy and promotion, Elias Eliades serves as Senior Director, Industrial & Technology Investment Strategy at Enterprise Greece, the national agency responsible for investment and trade facilitation. In this role, he contributes to shaping Greece’s industrial and technology investment agenda, supporting the definition of national investment priorities, the development of value-driven investment propositions, and the alignment of FDI policy with long-term industrial development, innovation and competitiveness objectives within the European and global context.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in the design and implementation of targeted investment promotion initiatives across priority sectors, including tourism, energy, agri-food, ICT, R&D and Global Business Services. His work has focused on attracting high-impact investments, supporting complex investor–state engagements, and strengthening coordination between investors and senior public stakeholders.
Since 2022, he has played a key role in the strategic recalibration of Enterprise Greece’s investment promotion approach towards value-added investment in advanced manufacturing, technology, R&D, innovation and supply-chain resilience, supporting Greece’s integration into emerging global value chains. In parallel, he serves as a Member of the Advisory Committee of Experts of the Department of Business Administration of Agricultural Enterprises and Supply Chain Systems at the Agricultural University of Athens, contributing to curriculum development and strengthening the interface between policy, academia and the productive economy. Elias holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Warwick (UK). His professional background includes senior roles at Invest in Greece and the Hellenic Centre for Investments, as well as advisory work in strategic communication and stakeholder engagement.
