- George Pappas is a certified public accountant and participates as a member of experienced audit teams that manage a wide range of tasks.
- He has over 20 years of professional experience. He has worked for several years in public accounting firms, participating in a number of regular and management audits, in companies in the financial, industrial, shipping, commercial and public sectors.
- He has significant and many years of experience as an Internal Auditor and as an executive in a financial institution. In addition, he served as Group Financial Manager for Greece and South-Eastern Europe in industry.
- He is a lecturer at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants (IESOEL) and in the Postgraduate Studies program of the National University of Athens. He has been a lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Finance of the former technological Institute of Western Greece for a decade and has conducted several accounting seminars.
- He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus, a postgraduate degree in vocational education from the IESOEL, a postgraduate MBA from the University of Patras and a postgraduate Master in Banking from the Hellenic Institute of Public Administration and is a PhD candidate in Accounting and Taxation at the Hellenic Institute of Public Administration. He is a member of the Greek Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Hellenic Institute of Internal Auditors.
