Aphrodite Drossou is an auditor at the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, within the Supervision Department of the Listed Companies Division, with responsibility for the supervision of Corporate Governance and ESG. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in the audit and financial field, across both the private and public sectors. She has extensive experience in internal audit, compliance, risk assessment and risk management. In the past, she has held positions of responsibility in Big 4, as well as Head of Internal Audit and Sustainability Assurance in large organizations. She holds a MSc in Banking, Finance & FinTech and a BSc in Economics, along with professional certifications in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), taxation and sustainability. She actively invests in continuous professional development in the areas of risk management, corporate governance and sustainability, through her participation in international expert groups of ESMA and IOSCO.
