V. Drakopoulos studied Business Administration at the University of Hertfordshire and holds a Master’s degree in Finance, from the University of Essex. He has also completed the one year Executive Leadership program of CocaCola HBC at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).

Since 2015, he has been leading the commercial and captive risk transfer strategy for the CocaCola Hellenic Bottling Company, responsible for defining the strategy, managing and renewing insurance policies, as well as the facilities protection program (Risk Engineering) across all countries. He participates in the crisis management team and supports the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management program. He holds the positions of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Executive Director of the Board of Directors of the Group’s reinsurance company (Captive). A member of the Association of Insurance and Risk Managers in Industry and Commerce (AIRMIC) UK, as well as a Board Member of the Hellenic Association of Risk Managers (ΠΑΣΥΣΔΙΚ – FERMA member).
