Michael is a Partner in EY Consulting Services practice in Athens, Greece. He has more than 24 years of consulting experience with a focus on Corporate Governance, Risk management, Internal Audit and Internal Controls and is currently the Leader of the Governance, Risk and Internal Audit services in Enterprise Risk EY Greece and the Enterprise Risk Management Leader in the south cluster of Central Eastern and Southeast Europe and Central Asia (CESA) EY Region. He holds a MSc degree in Accounting & Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. Michael is a member of the Hellenic Institute of Internal Auditors where he has also served as a BoD member (2010-2013). He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), he holds a Certification in Control Self- Assessment (CCSA) and in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and he is a Qualify Assessor by the IIA.
