Governor of the Hellenic Transparency Authority (NTA) 

Alexandra Rogkakou is the Governor of the Hellenic Transparency Authority (NTA) and Chair of the National Coordinating Body for Audit and Accountability (ESOEL). As head of a public organization with 500 full-time employees, she provides guidance to all three NTA’s operational pillars (detection, prevention, and raising awareness), coordinates the design and implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan, approves the annual and multi-annual audit plan, and represents the Authority in international organizations and fora (UNCAC, OECD, Council of Europe, EU). 

During her long career, she has served in many different positions and has many years of administrative experience in handling complex cases and dealing with emergency situations. Her experience in cases of illegal possession of antiquities, antiquities trafficking, and specific issues of the Ministry of Culture have resulted in her employment by the former Body of Inspectors-Controllers of Public Administration (former S.E.E.D.D.), where for almost a decade she conducted a series of audits focusing on corruption and maladministration. After her appointment as Special Inspector to the former General Inspector of Public Administration, she participated in special corruption audits focusing on naturalization, citizenship, embezzlement, etc.
