Sustainability Manager, Papastratos
Yiorgos Kostarelis is the Sustainability Manager of Papastratos, an affiliate of Philip Morris International. He is responsible for the Environment, Health and Safety of the operations center of Papastratos in Aspropyrgos. Yiorgos is leading the implementation of technical and cultural programs on safety, defining, and implementing the environmental strategic plan, ensuring compliance vs. authorities and certifications. He is a manufacturing professional with experience in managing large scale programs in businesses undergoing transformation. With a strong background in food & tobacco processing and extended experience in the areas of Sustainability and Lean Manufacturing/Six-Sigma both in designing and implementation of programs, Yiorgos is focused on developing people, teams and best practices. He holds a M.Eng Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Management from the University of Bath in UK
