Christos Christou

Mr. Christos Christou is a Diploma Electrical Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens and holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus. He has been a registered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 2009 and has more than 15 years of professional experience in the design, management, and operation of complex electromechanical projects.
He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Meccanica Facilities SMSA, while he has previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Operations Director at AKTOR Facility Management SMSA, where he was responsible for strategic planning, operational development, and the management of large-scale technical projects and Facility Management contracts.
Throughout his professional career, he has held leadership roles as Project Director and Project Manager in high-demand projects, specializing in the operation and maintenance of electromechanical installations, energy infrastructure, and critical facilities. He has managed projects in large-scale installations such as Alimos Marina and the Astir Vouliagmeni complex, as well as in complex building environments including data centers, commercial centers, and office buildings.
He has also contributed to the design and implementation of energy upgrade projects and “smart” infrastructure, including lighting telemanagement systems and BMS/BEMS systems, while possessing significant experience in energy management and the optimization of technical operations.
Today, he is responsible for the overall strategic development of Meccanica Facilities, the execution of projects in the fields of Utilities, Facility Management, and infrastructure, as well as for delivering innovative and sustainable technical solutions to large organizations and facilities.
