Yiannis Verginis is an entrepreneur who has been active in the manufacturing, industrial, trade and service sectors for more than 40 years.
He has been elected for many years to the Boards of Directors of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) and the Federation of Greek Industries (FIG) and has served as Vice President and Secretary General of the TCCI and the FIG, and as Supervisor (FGI).
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1997 and of the Board of Directors of the Arab-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Development since 2022.
He is the Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Thessaloniki, for Northern Greece since 2005.
He is a Business Development Consultant at Geoanalysis S.A. and a Public Relations and Communication Consultant at Mediterranean College
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Vogiatzoglou Systems S.A., THERMI S.A. and INTERLIFE S.A.E.G.A
He was a Member of the Board of Directors of TIF HELEXPO S.A., the Inter-Balkan-Black Sea Business Center, and the Thessaloniki Industrial Park VI.PA.THE.
He was a representative of the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the National Export Council, the General Secretariat of Commerce and Industry, the Hellenic Chamber He participated as a representative of the Institutions in official, Presidential, Governmental and Business Missions to dozens of countries abroad, as well as in dozens of preparatory meetings of Bilateral Inter-Ministerial Committees, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Countries. He was a Speaker at conferences of the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, Universities, Schools of Economics and a member of the Bilateral Chambers (Hellenic-African, American, German, Italian).
He is originally from Thessaloniki, is a Graduate of the School of Law and Economics, Department of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and speaks English.
