Konstantinos Nikoloutsos

President of the Pyrgos Municipal Port Fund (Katakolo)

Konstantinos Nikoloutsos was born in Pyrgos, Ilia, Greece, in 1951. He graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in 1975 with a degree in Civil Engineering and pursued postgraduate studies in Engineering Geology at the same institution. Following his military service as a reserve engineering officer, he established a long professional career as a Civil Engineer in Pyrgos and has now retired from active practice.

Alongside his professional career, he developed a strong presence in the economic, social and institutional life of Ilia. He served as President of the Ilia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, promoting entrepreneurship, economic development and outward-looking initiatives for the region. He has also served as President of the Pyrgos Municipal Water and Sewerage Company (DEYA) and President of the Pyrgos Municipal Stadium. He currently serves as President of the Pyrgos Municipal Port Fund (Katakolo), supporting the modernization of port infrastructure and the further development of cruise tourism and the local economy. He speaks English and Italian and has knowledge of French and German.
