Pantelis Papageorgiou

Pantelis Papageorgiou is a co-founder of Elikonos Capital and brings over 20 years of experience in private equity, capital markets and corporate finance. Since 2009, he has been involved in shaping the firm’s investment strategy, capital allocation and portfolio oversight activities in Greece. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at P&K Securities and in asset management at Allianz, following his start at Arthur Andersen in Athens and Boston. He subsequently served as Group CFO of Velti plc, leading the company’s AIM/LSE IPO and overseeing finance and legal operations across multiple jurisdictions. He has also held senior finance roles at Gerolymatos and Thraki and has been involved in M&A and IPO advisory through First Athens Corporate Finance.
Pantelis holds an MBA from Boston University and is a Certified Portfolio Manager by the HCMC.
