Dr. Andreas Christofi
Administration Manager – ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence
Dr Andreas Christofi is the Administration Manager of the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence (ECoE), Cyprus, a leading Digital Innovation Hub for Earth Observation, Space Technology, and Geospatial Information in the Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, and North Africa. He contributes to the Centre’s strategic development and operational management, supporting the implementation of large-scale European research and innovation initiatives.
He has participated in more than 20 national and European projects, with expertise in Earth Observation, Remote Sensing, non-destructive testing, and infrastructure monitoring. His research focuses on assessing reinforced concrete structures using advanced remote sensing technologies, field spectroscopy, and data analytics. He holds a PhD in the non-destructive evaluation of corrosion in reinforced concrete through field spectroscopy and remote sensing techniques.
Dr Christofi is the inventor of the patented “System and Method for Concrete Inspection” (UK Patent No. GB2632101). He has authored numerous scientific publications and conference presentations and combines extensive research experience with senior management expertise in engineering, innovation, and technology-driven projects.
