Prasanna Nagarajan is the CTO, Chief Technology Officer, at OQ Technology, a global leader in 5G NB-IoT and D2D services and a prominent player in the NewSpace industry.
With almost a decade of Innovation & executive management leadership experiences and a strong background in 3GPP standardized 4G and 5G technologies and satellite Communications, Prasanna is spearheading OQ Technology’s Innovation and Technology Roadmap and 3GPP Non-Terrestrial Networks standardization from within OQ and is the primary interface to all Institutional collaborations like the European Space Agency, Luxembourg Space Agency, the European Commission, etc. for OQ.
Under his leadership, OQ Technology successful industry firsts from being the first company the world to demonstrate NB IoT from Space in 2019 to the most recent successes of connecting drones using 5G and Emergency broadcasts from European Satellites to unmodified smartphones.
Before OQ, Prasanna worked for NEC research labs as part of its 3GPP research & standardization team, delivering on standards towards 5G architectural enhancements.
