Ms. Eleni Metaxa is an experienced Risk Management executive, holding an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science and Risk Management. She has a long-standing professional background in major organizations within the transport and financial services sectors. Currently, she serves as Risk Officer at Hellenic Train, where she is responsible for implementing the risk management framework, assessing and monitoring enterprise risks, fostering a risk-aware culture, and supporting management through reporting and performance indicators. Her responsibilities also include risk transfer via insurance and the management of the relevant insurance policy portfolio. Furthermore, she possesses significant experience in the insurance industry, having worked at Interamerican and Generali Hellas S.A. in both Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance functions.
