Mike Sachpazoglou

Michael Sachpazoglou is Head of Risk at Motor Oil Hellas, with 20 years of experience in risk management across the energy and commodities markets.
Since 2022, he has been Head of Risk at Motor Oil Hellas, responsible for Market Risk in Motor Oil, while also acting functionally as Group CRO for Enterprise Risk matters.
After completing his degree in Chemical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Management at Lancaster University, he spent 16 years working in the UK, initially at npower and subsequently at RWE Supply & Trading. He held positions of increasing responsibility in London and Swindon, ultimately becoming Head of Trading Risk in London, covering physical and derivative portfolios across oil products, natural gas, LNG, coal and dry bulk freight.
