Apostolos Kamarinakis, Rear Admiral (Rtd) of Hellenic Coast Guard – Civil Engineer (NTUA) is specialized in the Management and Development of Seaports. He is currently the CEO of Elefsis Port Authority SA and Second Vice President of the Hellenic Ports Association. Ηe is also the Representative of Greek Ports in the General Assembly of the European Sea Ports Organization (E.S.P.O.) and Secretary General of Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chambers & Βusiness Τransport Αssociation. He has served as Director of Ports and Port Development, Director of Port Policy, Head of Merchant Ships Inspection at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy. He has served as the CEO of the Igoumenitsa Port Authority SA, where he laid the foundation for the developmental transformation of Igoumenitsa Port into an essential gateway of Adriatic-Ionian maritime boulevard in west Balkans connected by Egnatia Road to Varna Port in Bulgaria, creating a transmodal corridor East-Western Balkans .
