Chronis Kapalidis

Chronis Kapalidis is a Principal at the Information Security Forum. A former Navy Officer, a senior executive, researcher and experienced consultant with technical and policy-related knowledge of cybersecurity, Chronis has been addressing information security risks for more than 18 years, in complex business environments. During his Navy career he specialised in Network, Information Security and Analysis, Threat Intelligence and Risk Assessment and Management, serving as CISO in high-risk operational environments. Chronis stands as an Associate Lecturer and doctoral researcher at the University of Warwick, where he teaches cybersecurity, and as an Academy Associate at the International Security Department, Chatham House. He is also a board member in several academic and scientific bodies, while supporting international and regional organisations like ISO and ENISA, and several government agencies across Europe.
