David Begjanyan

Undergraduate Student, School of Economics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Head, FlowON, JA Europe Company of the Year Competition 2021 (2nd prize)

David Begjanyan was born in Thessaloniki, in 2003. He is an undergraduate student of economics, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a remarkable experience in economics and youth entrepreneurship. He is the head of the “startup” FlowON, which designs and manufactures automation systems for outdoor taps, and was distinguished with the 2nd European Award, at the Company of the Year Competition 2021 of Junior Achievement Europe. FlowON’s success was also recognized by Elevate Greece, with an honorary award at the National Startup Awards 2021, at the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair.

He has excelled in numerous business and financial competitions, and in 2021 he represented Greece at the International Economics Olympiad. He has participated in conferences on entrepreneurship and economics in general, such as the 26th Annual Economist Government Roundtable, in a panel about youth entrepreneurship, and the 6th Simulation Conference of the European Central Bank, on monetary policy, specifically, on issues such as interest rate management and the creation of the digital euro, where he was awarded for his contribution to the conference. At the same time, he participates in events of different public bodies for the analysis of youth employment in Greece.
