Dott.ssa Luciana Iorio
Chair of the UNECE Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety- WP1
Luciana Iorio has a law degree, an MBA, and specializations in diplomatic relations, international policies, in public governance, and in sustainable development.
Working at the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility of Italy, she is the Chair of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety (WP1). She has also served as the founding chair of the UN Road Safety Fund. She is a member of the International Advisory Committee of the College of Traffic Management, IRTE, in Delhi, India. She is member of the Jury of the Global Road Safety Film Festival. In addition, she runs a monthly editorial for the technical magazines. She is regularly engaged with Imola Living Lab, a frontrunner cluster engaged in policy dialogue on safe mobility as catalyst of sustainability, inclusiveness, equity for societal progress. She is also engaged with Universities, in relation to policies for the future mobility as Genoa University, Birmingham, Belgrade, Delft.
