Dr Panagiotis Rovolis
Laboratory Teaching Staff, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
Dr. Panagiotis Rovolis is Laboratory Teaching Staff at Electric Machines and Power Electronics Laboratory, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) since academic year 2017-18.
He received his Ph.D and Diploma in Electrical Engineering, from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the NTUA. He has also obtained degree in Electrical Engineering from the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education.
He served Secondary Education as a teacher before joining NTUA as Laboratory Teaching Staff. During that period, he was Member of Council of the Independent Authority “National Exams Organization” of Ministry of Education, as well as Director of 6th and 5th Laboratory Center of Athens.
He has been the head of the voluntary research team “Prometheus” of NTUA since 2017. The main aim of this team is to develop prototype electric vehicles. His research interests include the development of improved models for calculating core losses of transformers and rotating electrical machines and applications on electric vehicles.
