Ellie Kakoullou
Assistant General Manager Head of Group Real Estate, National Bank of Greece
Mrs. Ellie Kakoullou serves as Assistant General Manager, Head of Group Real Estate at the National Bank of Greece since 2019, overseeing the Bank’s real estate management, investment and commercialization activities in addition to the Group’s Valuation and Technical services.
She started her career in the banking sector at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in the Bank Supervision Group. Upon her return to Greece, she joined KPMG as a Senior Consultant and then moved to National Westminster Bank in Athens where she was responsible for public sector lending. From there she joined Alpha Bank and held several positions of increasing seniority throughout her 18 years at the Bank, starting in Corporate Banking, moving on to the establishment of the Bank’s Project Finance unit and becoming Head of Structured Finance in 2014, with a primary focus on real estate, energy and infrastructure financings. From 2018 to 2019, she served as Executive Director and Board Member of the Hellenic Public Properties Company.
Mrs. Kakoullou holds a Master’s Degree in International Finance and Banking from Columbia University (SIPA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Columbia College.
