Marilena Kouidou
President of the Greek Chapter of International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA)
Marilena was born in Thessaloniki. She graduated from the American college ‘Anatolia’. She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Sociology from The London School of Economics and a Postgraduate degree in International Business and Management from the University of Essex. She was trained and worked in green coffee trading and green coffee logistics at Itochu group in Genova, Italy. Since 1998 she has been working in the coffee sector, both in the import/export of green coffee logistics, as well as in sales management. She holds various certifications in the coffee and tea sectors, as well as the Certificate in advanced studies of Coffee Excellence by The University of Zurich (ZHAW).
Since 2017 she represents the Beverage Standards Association of UK educational curricula in Greece and Cyprus and since 2021 she acts as the principal of the WSPC Coffee, Tea and Cocoa school, part of WSPC School. She is the owner of Coteco SA educational and consulting services.
She is leading the organizing committee of the IWCA (International Women’s Coffee Alliance) Greek chapter.
