Nikos Chalarakis

Nikos Chalarakis is a Medical Doctor, alumnus of the Athens Medical School, National & Kapodistrian University, specialized and board-certified in Psychiatry at Aeginiteion University Hospital. He is an M.B.A. holder from ALBA Graduate Business School at the American College of Greece and a Ph.D. holder in the field of Psychoendocrinology from the Medical School of Athens, National & Kapodistrian University. He has participated in international research and publications on Nocebo effect, on Endocrinology, as well as on the use of psychometric tools that explore the relation between hormonal factor s and mental symptoms, with emphasis on depression and stress.
Since 2014 he works in the Pharmaceutical Sector, in positions of increased responsibility and he joined Sanofi in 2019. He is co-founder and Secretary of the Board at the non-profit Organization “Mitos for Mental Health” and Vice President of the Board at the ALBA Alumni Association. He is a Medical Leadership Team member of Sanofi’s Central & South Europe Multi-Country Organization and member of the Medical Directors’ Core Team at SFEE.
