Nikos Paragios, a distinguished Mathematics professor at the University of Paris-Saclay and Chief Executive Officer of TheraPanacea. Previously, he held senior roles at Institut Universitaire de France, Inria, and Ecole de Ponts ParisTech, visiting professor positions at Rutgers, Houston, Yale and was affiliated with Siemens Corporate Research, Princeton, NJ. Professor Paragios is an IEEE fellow (2012), with numerous co-editedl books, over 450 papers (cited 30,000+ times), and 40+ international patents. He’s supervised 50+ PhD students, served as CVIU Journal’s Editor in Chief, and contributed to numerous prestigious journals in the fields of computer vision, medical imaging and machine learning. Prestigious recognitions and distinctions include an IBM faculty award, European Research Council excellence awards, and Greece’s Bodossaki Prize. Named one of MIT’s top 35 innovators under 35.
