
Socrates Costicoglou
General Director of Applications and R&D, Space Hellas
Socrates Costicoglou is the General Director of Applications and R&D at Space Hellas. He holds a Dipl.-Eng. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, and an MSc in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, NY. With a strategic leadership role, he oversees initiatives and technological development across the organization. Since 2010 is working on high impact projects for Space, cyberdefence, AI and Cloud. He is leading the R&D activities of Space Hellas and he has a significant track record both as a project coordinator and a reviewer in both European and National funded R&D Projects (Horizon Europe, ESA, EDF). He is a member of the HASI board, and he has played a key role in shaping national space initiatives and fostering industrial collaboration through initiatives like the si-Cluster.
