Konstantinos Maliatsos

Assistant Professor, University of the Aegean

Dr. Konstantinos Maliatsos is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Aegean and co-founder of the SME Feron Technologies. He earned his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA in 2003, an MBA in Technoeconomic Systems in 2005, and a PhD in wireless communications and signal processing in 2011. Since 2003, he has worked with the Mobile Radio Communications Lab at NTUA and, since 2013, with the Telecommunication Systems Lab at University of Piraeus as senior researcher. In 2015, he co-founded Feron, where he serves as R&I Programs Director. Elected Assistant Professor in 2020, he has participated in over 24 European R&I projects, often in key roles. His research focuses on MIMO, joint communication and sensing, beamforming, 6G physical layer design, cognitive radio, satellite communications, and vehicular communications. He remains active in both academia and industry-driven innovation efforts.
