Alexandros Romanos Lizardos
Cinema Critic / Director / Theatrologist
Cinema critic and director with a master’s degree in Theater Studies and Creative Writing, as well as a Ph.D. candidate at the National Technical University of Athens. A member of the Greek Film Critics Association (ΠΕΚΚ), Fipresci, the European & Greek Film Academy, and for the second year in a row, an international juror for the Golden Globes. He hosts a film program on ERT (Greek public broadcasting), and has served as a consultant for a foreign program. He loves cats, coffee, and massages, but despises stinginess, rudeness, and narrow-mindedness. Before going to sleep and upon waking up, he enjoys a cup of coffee. His latest short film was inspired by ‘A hot cup of local coffee somewhere in Morocco.’
