Vasileios Mamalis
Executive Director of the Hellenic Ports Association
Graduate of the Hellenic Naval Academy. He served as combatant deck officer on warships and then at managerial and administrative posts in the Hellenic Navy, the General Staff of Defense, and the Ministry of National Defense. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. He was an associate of the SECRETARY GENERAL of the MINISTRY OF MARITIME AFFAIRS & INSULAR POLICY. He is also a graduate of the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University, specializing in Public Economics, with expertise in Public Economy, and holds a postgraduate specialization in Actuarial Science and Risk Management after successfully attending the Department of Statistics at the University of Piraeus. He has extensive teaching experience in the fields of Management, Risk Management, Defense Economics, Project Management, HR Management, Marketing, and Logistics. He has taught at the Hellenic Naval Academy, the Hellenic Naval War School, the University of Piraeus, and the University of West Attica a large number of educational programs. He is currently the Executive Director of the Hellenic Ports Association.
