Dr. Dimitris Agiakatsikas

CEO and Co-founder of SolidKosmos S.A.

A spin-off from the University of Piraeus Research Centre (UPRC) and an incubatee at ESA BIC Greece, that provides products and services for functional verification testing, reliability analysis, radiation characterisation, and fault tolerance in critical systems. Dimitris has over a decade of international experience across Australia (UNSW Sydney), Singapore (Xilinx Research Labs), Belgium (Space Application Services), and Greece (National Observatory of Athens and the University of Piraeus Research Centre), specialising in fault-tolerant computing, system reliability, and radiation effects on programmable chips. He has worked on multiple European Space Agency, EU, and corporate projects as a key researcher, SW engineer and systems engineer. Dimitris earned his PhD in fault-tolerant FPGA systems from UNSW Sydney in 2019. As an active member of the academic community, he serves on technical committees for international conferences and reviews for IEEE, ACM, and Elsevier journals.
