Agamemnon Papastergiou
Senior Director, Digital Banking, Alpha Bank
Agamemnon (Agis) Papastergiou joined Alpha Bank in February 2017 as a Senior Director. He is heading Digital Banking, being responsible for the further development of the digital channels of the Bank, the digital transformation of key customer journeys, as well as the development of the Bank’s innovation ecosystem. He has more than 20 years of experience in Financial Services and particularly in the areas of transformation programs and large-scale project management.
Prior to joining Alpha Bank, he worked for 10 years for National Bank of Greece, serving, amongst others, as Director of Group PMO and Operations. Before that, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where he spent 7 years, having worked on numerous banking engagements, in Greece, Cyprus, Eastern Europe and Turkey. He holds a BEng in Computer Engineering and Informatics, from the University of Patras in Greece, and an MBA from Cass Business School, City University of London UK.
