Alex is passionate Medical Affairs professional with extensive experience across various layers of complex corporate organizations (global, area, local). He has over 10 years of experience in autoimmune & inflammatory diseases, cardiovascular/respiratory, sleep, and virology covering all stages of Medical Affairs support from early development (phase 1-2), full development, product launch, late life cycle management/LoE and product withdrawal. He has been active member of a Country Management Team and Trade Director. Prior to joining pharma Alex pursued an academic career at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) as scientific collaborator working on HIV. Alex holds a PhD in Life Science from the German Cancer Research Center. He graduated in immunology at the Basel Institute for Immunology. Alex is a ski tour guide in the Swiss Alpine Club, passionate about CrossFit and loves spending his free time with friends and family in the Swiss Alps.
