Alexandros Angelopoulos 

Vice President, Aldemar Resorts 

Alexandros N. Angelopoulos (born in Athens, 1972) holds a degree in Business Management from Boston University (1995) and serves as Vice President of Aldemar Resorts, one of Greece’s leading resort companies. Under his leadership, Aldemar has implemented innovative practices that have helped redefine modern Greek hospitality, with a strong focus on sustainability and responsible growth. He is actively involved in the Greek and European business communities as a founding member of the Hellenic Competitiveness Council, Vice President of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association, member of the Leadership Council of Boston University in Greece, and Honorary Consul of Ukraine for the Peloponnese. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Governing Council of the University of Patras, and in 2025 he was elected Vice President of HAPCO & DES and member of the Board of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. A committed advocate of sustainable development, he taught “Sustainable Development in Tourism” (2019–2024) and was honored as “Responsible Sustainability Leader” in 2021.
