Arianna Sekeri is a highly qualified and skilled advocate, negotiator and data protection & privacy specialist, with a proven record of more than ten years’ diversified working experience. Before joining ALG Manousakis, she was of-counsel to the Legal Department of a major Telecoms & Media Group of Companies in Greece, responsible for all privacy-related legal and compliance issues. She has a practical business-oriented mindset and deep knowledge of new technologies and business operations in heavily regulated industries like telco and pharma. Arianna is the senior manager of the firm’s data privacy services and oversees the implementation of multiple privacy (incl. GDPR) compliance projects in and outside of Greece. She has been supporting multinationals in the life-science & biotechnology industry to develop, manage and monitor their GDPR privacy compliance programs and to leverage their initiatives to set up their global privacy practices. Arianna is the designated outsourced Data Protection Officer for three multinational pharmaceuticals with operations in Europe and worldwide.
Arianna is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Manager (CIPM) & Technologist (CIPT) and a recognized leader in the privacy industry (FIP) by the iapp, the leading worldwide organization of privacy professionals. She is an active author and contributor to online publications regarding various aspects of data privacy and compliance.
