Christina Argiropoulou 

First Counsellor for Economic & Commercial Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Christina Argiropoulou, First Counselor for Economic & Commercial Affairs, has been serving in the Office of the Secretary General for International Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2023. She primarily focuses on extroversion matters, such as the National Strategic Plan for Extroversion, Regional Extroversion Offices, and other key initiatives, while also participating in the Extroversion Council meetings of Enterprise Greece. 

She holds a degree in Business Administration (Athens University of Economics and Business) and is a graduate of the National School of Public Administration. With professional experience dating back to 1987, she has worked extensively in the private sector, including major multinational corporations. 

Since 2004, she has been serving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in key strategic positions and the NSRF executive structure, focusing on the utilization of co-financed programs for economic diplomacy initiatives. 

She has served in the Economic & Commercial Affairs Offices of the Embassies of Greece in Ankara, Tirana, and Rome. During her tenure in Rome, she was Deputy Permanent Representative to the three UN Agencies (FAO, IFAD, and WFP). 

She is fluent in Greek, English, French, and Italian, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish and German.
