Group Chief Investment Officer, Eurobank 

Mr. Elafros is the Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Eurobank Group, reporting to the Bank’s Wealth Management Division. He also serves as Chairman of the Group Private Banking Investment Strategy Committee. Throughout his extensive professional career, he has held several senior investment roles within Eurobank Group, including General Manager and Chief Investment Officer at Eurobank Asset Management MFMC, Chief Investment Officer for Equities at Eurobank, and Head of Equity Research at Eurobank Equities. He began his career in the mid-1990s in the United Kingdom, where he worked as an Investment Risk Researcher and Visiting Lecturer at Bayes Business School, City, University of London. He holds a master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Investment Management from Bayes Business School (University of London), a master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from City, University of London, and a bachelor’s degree (BEng Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London. In addition, he is a certified Type D Analyst by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission.
