Costas Voulgaris
Financial Lines Manager, AIG
Costas Voulgaris is responsible for the company’s portfolio in Financial Lines, including a large array of sophisticated insurance products, such as Directors’ and Officers’ liability, Cyber Insurance and Professional Indemnity. He joined AIG in 2005, initially as Financial Lines Underwriter and later as Financial Lines Manager covering the company’s business in Greece, Cyprus and Malta. During this time he managed to significantly increase the company’s market share in the particular market, win and retain major accounts and introduce breakthrough products, such as CyberEdge, the first cyber insurance product in the Greek market. At the same time he is Product Leader for all products related to Financial Institutions in AIG’s European “MEDI” Cluster.
Before joining AIG, Mr. Voulgaris worked at the financial controlling department of Hewlett-Packard in the UK. He is a member of the Liabilities’ committee of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Human Resources.
