Damianos Papakonstantinou

Damianos Papakonstantinou has more than 25 years of experience across capital markets, investment management and corporate strategy, with a career spanning senior executive and CEO roles, as well as Board memberships across several companies. He spent more than a decade in capital markets, leading institutional businesses across Athens, London and Istanbul, managing multicultural teams across different geographies. He subsequently moved into entrepreneurship and investment management, co-founding an investment firm and later serving as CEO of a leading brokerage firm and as Investment Manager
of a private equity fund focused on Southern Europe. Since 2021, he has served as Head of Strategy at IDEAL Holdings, focusing on strategic development, investments and long-term value creation. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc & MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
