
Diatsenta Fanou-Fouskarini
Home Economics and Dietetics Scientist, Career Counseling Advisor
Diatsenta Fanou-Fouskarini was born in Andravida, Ilia, where she resides permanently. She is a teacher, holding a degree in Home Economics and Dietetics from Harokopio University, and is also a Career Counseling Advisor certified by the University of Patras (2001). She has received training in employment issues from a gender perspective and in crisis management (2010).
She has served as Principal of the Gymnasiums (Junior High Schools) of Lechaina and Neochori.
She was a member of the scientific editorial committee for the poetry anthology of the Gymnasium of Lechaina titled “The Poetry of the Sea” (1997).
She is the editor of the volume “Ilian Gastronomy – Taste and Historical Memories”, published with the support of the Department of Culture of the Region of Western Greece (2023).
As a Prefectural Councilor in 2007, she organized and administered the Volunteerism Department of the Prefecture of Ilia. In 2008, she was responsible for the Prefectural Economic and Social Committee of Ilia, and she also served as an alternate member of the Prefectural Committee for the Planning of Community Programs.
Finally, she has presented educational and scientific topics in seminars, public conferences, and in local media within the community.
