Dimitrios G. Tsalikakis
Head of 3rd Regional Health Care of Macedonia, Ministry of Health
Dimitris Tsalikakis, born in Neapoli, Thessaloniki in 1977, married and father of two daughters, is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia, with his main research interest in Biomedical Data Modeling and Analysis.
Holds
- a degree from the Mathematics Department of the School of Sciences of the University of Ioannina,
- two postgraduate degrees, in “Information Business Systems” from the Open University of Cyprus and in “Healthcare Unit Management” from the University of Macedonia
- a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina, while
- more than 100 of his scientific papers have been published in international scientific journals, in proceedings of international conferences with referees and in books, which have collected over 2000 reports.
He has served
- 2024 to date Governor of the 3rd Health Region of Macedonia.
- 2019 –2024 Governor of the 4th Health Region of Macedonia and Thrace.
- 2014-2019 Deputy Governor of the 4th Health Region of Macedonia and Thrace.
- 2013-2014 Deputy Governor and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki “AHEPA
- 2008-2013 worked as a PD/407, practicing independent teaching at various Universities and Higher Technological Educational Institutions of Northern Greece.
