Dr. Anastasia Chasapi is Manager of Embedded Innovation at Pfizer’s Center for Digital Innovation in Thessaloniki, where she leads and delivers end‑to‑end innovation projects across the pharmaceutical value chain, from discovery to patient support. She works with global pharmaceutical teams, academia, research organizations, and startups on digital health, AI, and data‑driven initiatives.
Her professional background includes senior roles in biomedical data science, computational biology, digital health, and research management across academia, industry, and public bodies. She has contributed to the development of data management frameworks and reproducible research infrastructures at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, supporting international biomedical research initiatives.
She is a biologist by training and holds an MSc in Proteomics and Bioinformatics from the University of Geneva and a PhD in Computational Biology from the University of Lausanne.
