Dr. Chrysoula Liakou is an Internal Medicine Physician and Director of Clinical Evaluation at EKAPTY. She earned her medical degree from the University of Ioannina and her PhD from the University of Athens. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky and specialized in Immunology at the University of Texas.
With over ten years of experience in research and innovation, Dr. Liakou has collaborated with both private companies and academic institutions and has served as Chief Medical Officer, focusing on strategic health policy development in both the private and public sectors. At EKAPTY, she specializes in the Clinical Evaluation of Medical Devices and participates as a commissioner on working groups in the United States and the European Union. Her work focuses on Clinical Medicine, Geriatrics, standardized forms for the safety and clinical performance of medical devices, and the Evaluation of Clinical Reports, promoting safety and quality in healthcare.
