Director of ESA BIC Greece and Chairman of the si-Cluster
Jorge is co-founder of Corallia (corallia.org) and JNP (jnp.gr). He is the Director of the ESA Business Incubation Center Greece (esa-bic.gr), the Chairman of the Board of the Space Technologies and Applications Cluster (si-Cluster.gr), the organiser of Space Hackathons in Greece, and various Space related events and fora. He is also the Director of the Start A Business Programme (startab.gr), a Member of the Steering Board of the Accelerator egg (theegg.gr), the Co-founder of three Business Incubation Centres, a founding member of the gi-Cluster (gaming technologies and creative content) and the mi-Cluster (nano/microelectronics-based systems and applications). He assesses around 300 business plans every year from individual entrepreneurs, startups, scaleups looking for funding and entrepreneurial support. He holds Dipl.-Ing. & Dr.-Ing. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering (NTUA) and a Master Certification in Professional Program & Project Management (Stevens Institute of Technology). He has received several national and international awards while studying and working in the industry. He is a member of the Piraeus Sailing Club, the ACE Tennis Club and the Technical Chamber of Greece.
