Dr. Kyriakos G. Kotsoglou

Dr. Kyriakos Kotsoglou was born in Chania, in 1967. He is a graduate of the Department of Production & Management Engineering of the Technical University of Crete, holder of an MBA in the field of “Organization & Management” from the same department and holder of a PhD with his thesis, “Electronic Government and its contribution to the fight against Corruption and the improvement of services to the Citizen”.
He has participated in a number of research programs, has written (2) scientific books in the field of ICT while at the same time he is an adult trainer with long experience, in collaboration with lifelong learning bodies such as the National Center for Public Administration, the Hellenic Society of Local Self-Government, KEK, IEK , etc. He is a member of the Delegation of the TEE of Western Crete, while he participates in a series of collectives. For the last 15 years he has been actively involved in Local Government, from positions of responsibility. Today, he is the Vice-Regional Governor for Tourism & E-Governance of the Region of Crete while he is also the GM at the alternative tourism hotel, EVGE Experience Boutique Hotel.
